SECVRITAS TEMPORVM Securitas seated left, holding scepter in her right hand and resting her head on her left; to left, lighted and garlanded altar. BMC 28. Cohen 128. RIC 94. Lightly toned and with a particularly interesting early portrait, with the facial features of Caracalla. Good very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
